Over 10 kilometers of rural road connecting 10 villages and serving more than 2,000 farmers is set for rehabilitation as part of ongoing efforts to support agricultural productivity and rural development in Ijesaland.
The road, which was previously graded to ease movement across the communities, plays a critical role as a major link between farmers and local markets. With the rainy season approaching, concerns were raised by residents and farmers about accessibility and transportation challenges.
Responding to these concerns, Barrister Dimeji Adebayo reaffirmed his commitment to the people by approving the regrading of the road to ensure continued access for farming activities and economic exchange.
The intervention is being carried out in alignment with the people-focused development agenda of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, whose administration continues to prioritize rural infrastructure and community welfare across Osun State.
This initiative is expected to significantly improve mobility, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance the livelihoods of farmers within the affected communities.
Barrister Adebayo emphasized that leadership is about responsiveness and service, noting that development must reach the grassroots where it is needed most.
Barrister Dimeji Adebayo, popularly known as Omo-Lere, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for the administration of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke with the launch of a dedicated radio programme aimed at promoting the governor’s achievements across Osun State.
In what is widely seen as a bold endorsement of Governor Adeleke’s leadership, the respected legal practitioner and frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Ijesa South Federal Constituency, is set to sponsor a weekly 30-minute programme titled “Omo-Lere Half Hour.”
The programme will air across major radio stations in the constituency, including Uniq FM, Hope FM, and Timsed FM, beginning Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
“Omo-Lere Half Hour” is designed to bring governance closer to the people by highlighting the impactful, people-centered policies of Governor Adeleke’s administration. The programme will showcase ongoing infrastructural developments, road rehabilitation projects, improved welfare for workers and pensioners, advancements in education, and ongoing reforms in the healthcare sector.
Speaking on the initiative, Barrister Adebayo described Governor Adeleke as a leader who has restored public confidence in governance and placed Osun State on a clear path of sustainable development.
According to him, “Governor Adeleke has demonstrated purposeful and compassionate leadership. His administration is delivering visible results, and it is only right that the people are informed, engaged, and mobilized to sustain this progress.”
Beyond awareness, the programme also serves as a strategic grassroots mobilization platform to rally support for the governor’s re-election. Barrister Adebayo emphasized that continuity in leadership is essential to ensure that ongoing projects are completed and that the full benefits of current reforms are realized across the state.
He further called on the people of Ijesa South and Osun State at large to remain united in their support, stressing that backing the current administration is not just a political choice, but a commitment to stability, growth, and shared prosperity.
With the launch of “Omo-Lere Half Hour,” Barrister Adebayo continues to position himself as a loyal ally of progress, one who is not only ready to serve but also committed to amplifying leadership that works for the people.
